Ep. 3 Tougher Than Me

Episode 3:

Our friend Pete is a New Jersey native and works in a group home for foster kids near Santa Cruz, California.  He spent a large portion of his early life working with kids as a youth group leader, a basketball referee, and mentoring.  After being offered a job at his mentee's group home before he moved to California, Pete became inspired to pursue that career path on the west coast.

While he navigates the red tape of local government's experimental policies, he dreams of creating his own group home that specializes in a corrective-behavioral classification system versus traditional aging or gender-based placement.  Pete has a clear passion for working with the resilient children of the foster system and he wants to share his experience to help others understand more about this (and their) heavy issue(s).
